Fanvue AI Creator Rules: Verification, Disclosure, and Adult Boundaries
Understand Fanvue's AI creator rules, including account-owner KYC, AI labels, honest chat disclosure, consent, and clearly adult fictional characters.

Fanvue permits AI accounts, subject to identity verification, disclosure, adult-only content standards, and consent requirements. Verify the human owner, label AI content, and review the rules before publishing. Account approval does not guarantee approval of each upload. Fanvue's AI content rules describe the account types.
An AI label, verified account owner, and acceptable content address different questions. Treat each as a separate check before you charge for access.
Verify the person who operates the account
Fanvue requires the owner of an AI account to provide a valid government ID and a verification selfie, even if their face never appears in posts. Fanvue says it does not display that ID on the public profile. A fictional character does not replace the person responsible for the account. Account and co-creator verification guidance explains the distinction.
Keep your public character description separate from the verification documents. A character's invented name, portrait, or biography cannot establish the account owner's identity.
Check that any request for documents comes through the official service before you respond. Do not send ID files to a person who approaches you in a social-media message and claims they can secure approval.
Use the AI label and answer direct questions
Fanvue's AI labels and disclosure guidance says accounts containing AI content need an account-level label, including creators who mix real and AI-enhanced content. If the profile already displays the AI label, Fanvue says you do not need an additional bio disclosure. Your bio still cannot contradict the label or mislead fans about who they are interacting with.
The same guidance permits staying in character, but a direct question about whether the character is AI requires a clear, truthful answer. You cannot tell a fan that a correct AI label is a mistake.
Read what you are asking customers to pay for, then compare it with what you will deliver. Remove claims you cannot support.
Keep fictional characters clearly adult
Fanvue's Community Guidelines, updated October 12, 2026, prohibit AI-generated individuals who resemble minors. A stated age in a caption or prompt cannot override a youthful visual appearance. The guidelines also prohibit sexualized depictions of minors, including synthetic characters, and age-play involving someone pretending to be under 18.
Leave an item unpublished if you cannot make a confident adult-only assessment, and ask Fanvue for clarification. Do not use a character's stated age to excuse a contradictory image or setting.
The guidelines impose separate restrictions on public profile media and discovery surfaces. Review your avatar, banner, and intro video as public-facing material rather than assuming the rules for subscriber content apply there.
Consent concerns survive an AI edit
Fanvue's verification guidance requires verification and consent for a real person's face, body, voice, or likeness. An AI face edit does not remove those obligations. Co-creator documents also do not fix a human account built around someone else's identity.
The AI help page combines newer account-type guidance with an older quoted passage using different wording about other real people. Do not assume consent guarantees acceptance. Ask Fanvue before building around someone else's identity. This guide focuses on fictional adults operated by a verified human owner.
Keep a record of where source material came from and what permission you have to use it. “Found online” and “changed with AI” do not establish permission. If you cannot identify who authorized a real person's participation, stop rather than trying to make the result harder to recognize.
Fanvue's AI content rules also prohibit copyrighted characters and AI content made from other people's photos or videos. Permission to use a software tool does not establish that you can upload every result to a creator platform.
Check an account in the order a fan experiences it
Use this review before publishing or changing an existing account:
- Read the public profile without relying on information hidden in your settings. Would a visitor understand the account's AI status?
- Check the avatar and banner against the public-media rules. Do not assess only the paid posts.
- Review the sales description alongside the content. Remove promises you cannot fulfill or claims that conflict with the account type.
- Review welcome messages and replies, including those someone else prepared, for claims you cannot support.
- Keep the source URLs and review date in your own records. Recheck them after a warning or a change in the account's content.
This is an editorial review sequence, not a Fanvue approval checklist. Ask support about the exact disputed item instead of requesting a general assurance that your whole account is compliant.
Handle a warning without guessing at the cause
Fanvue's account restriction guidance identifies unverified participants and AI-policy violations among possible causes. It directs unresolved cases to support for review. The AI rules also describe possible content removal, payout holds during review, deductions, and account restrictions.
Save the notice and identify the affected post or message. Ask which policy provision Fanvue applied and what evidence its reviewer needs. Avoid changing several unrelated account details at once, which makes it harder to explain what happened. Do not re-upload a disputed item while seeking clarification.
Our Fanvue platform entry covers the service itself. Use the creator-platform guide for broader platform selection, then check the destination platform's own rules. Fanvue's permission does not transfer to another service.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run a Fanvue account with a fully fictional AI character?
Fanvue permits this account type. You still need to verify the human owner, disclose AI use, and meet the platform's content standards. A fictional character does not create an exemption from moderation.
Does an AI creator need to show their own face in public posts?
Fanvue distinguishes private account-owner verification from the character you publish. Its KYC guidance requires your ID and selfie even if your face does not appear in the content. Keep public-media requirements in your review as well.
Do I have to write “AI” in the bio if Fanvue already labels the account?
Fanvue says the visible profile label can satisfy bio disclosure. Avoid contradictory claims, answer direct questions truthfully, and recheck the guidance if your label changes.
Does writing an adult age make a young-looking character acceptable?
No. Fanvue assesses appearance, and its guidelines say a prompt or disclaimer cannot override resemblance to a minor. Do not publish uncertain material while waiting for a moderation answer.
Can I assume a previous approval covers new uploads?
No. Review each new item and any changes in source material, participant identity, or account presentation. Keep approval messages tied to the item or question they addressed. This guide describes platform policies checked on October 16, 2026, not legal clearance.
