How do I cancel an OnlyFans subscription?

To cancel a specific creator subscription on OnlyFans, go to your subscription settings and toggle off auto-renewal for that creator. You'll keep access through the end of the current billing period. To close your entire OnlyFans account, go to Account Settings and use the Delete Account option after canceling all active subscriptions.

OnlyFans subscriptions work on monthly auto-renewal by default. Canceling means turning off the auto-renewal — your existing subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which it doesn't renew. Here's how to do each common cancellation scenario.

Canceling a single creator subscription

Steps from the OnlyFans web interface:

  1. Sign in to your OnlyFans account.
  2. Click your profile icon (top right) and select Settings.
  3. In the left sidebar, select Subscriptions.
  4. Find the creator you want to unsubscribe from in your active subscriptions list.
  5. Click the toggle next to their subscription to disable auto-renewal. The toggle will switch from green (active) to off.
  6. Confirm if prompted.

From the mobile experience (mobile web, since OnlyFans doesn't have native iOS or Android apps): the steps are similar, but the menu is accessed through the hamburger icon in the top corner. Settings → Subscriptions → toggle off auto-renew per creator.

You'll continue to have access to that creator's content until the end of your current billing period (the date you originally subscribed plus one month). After that, you lose access unless you re-subscribe. Your subscription doesn't refund — the remaining time you've already paid for is yours to use.

Canceling all subscriptions at once

OnlyFans doesn't have a single "cancel all" button. You need to toggle off auto-renew for each active subscription individually. The Subscriptions page lists all your active subscriptions; you can work through them quickly.

Some creator dashboards show pending cancellations (subscriptions that won't auto-renew) versus actively-renewing ones, so you can verify you've toggled off every one.

Closing your entire OnlyFans account

If you want to delete your account entirely rather than just stopping subscriptions:

  1. Cancel all active subscriptions first (the account deletion option requires no active subscriptions in some account states).
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and find Delete Account.
  4. Confirm via email link.

Account deletion is typically immediate. Your username becomes available for others, your conversation history with creators is removed, and your billing information is purged from the platform. If you change your mind, you'd need to create a new account from scratch.

Billing cycle details

Each subscription has its own billing date based on when you initially subscribed. If you subscribed on the 15th of the month, your renewal happens on the 15th of each subsequent month. Cancellations before the renewal date stop the next charge; cancellations after a charge has already processed apply to the following month.

OnlyFans charges at the moment of subscription rather than at the end of the previous period. This means if you subscribed today and canceled tomorrow, the current month is paid for and you have access through your original month-from-today date. There's no proration or refund for the unused time within your paid period.

Refund policy

OnlyFans's general refund policy is that subscriptions are non-refundable. Once you've paid for a month, that money is the creator's. Refunds are issued only in specific circumstances:

  • Unauthorized charges (you didn't make the purchase, evidence of account compromise).
  • Platform errors (duplicate charges, system issues).
  • Specific scenarios at the platform's discretion.

If you have a legitimate dispute (creator violated policies, content materially different than advertised), the path is to contact OnlyFans support with specifics. Chargebacks through your credit card company are an option but can result in your account being restricted.

Tipping, PPV, and other charges

Subscription cancellation doesn't affect tips or pay-per-view purchases you've already made — those are completed transactions, not subscriptions. If you have unused balance on your account (rare on OnlyFans), it doesn't refund automatically on cancellation; you'd need to contact support.

Common cancellation issues

A few things that occasionally trip people up:

  • "Auto-renew is already off." Some users see this when they've already canceled previously. The subscription remains active through its current period; the toggle being off just means it won't renew.
  • Charges after cancellation. If you canceled but were charged anyway, check the dates carefully. If the charge happened before the cancellation, that month was already due. If it happened after, contact support with screenshots.
  • Card declined notifications. If your card declined a renewal charge, your subscription pauses but you keep your existing billing relationship. To stop entirely, toggle off auto-renew rather than just letting cards fail.
  • Resubscribing later. If you cancel and want to re-subscribe to the same creator later, you start a new billing cycle from the day you re-subscribe. Your previous subscription duration doesn't accumulate.

Contacting OnlyFans support

For issues that can't be resolved through the interface, contact OnlyFans support through the in-platform Help section. Response times vary; expect 24-72 hours for non-urgent issues, faster for billing disputes. Provide specifics: account email, transaction IDs, screenshots of the issue. Vague support requests get vague responses.
